Straight answers about spray foam insulation, SPF roofing, and how CKC works.
Yes. Spray foam off-gasses quickly — typically within 24 hours of application. Once cured, it’s completely inert, non-toxic, and safe for occupied buildings. We use low-VOC products and follow all safety protocols during installation. You can return to the building once the recommended re-entry window has passed.
Spray foam is a permanent insulation solution. It won’t settle, sag, or degrade over time, and it doesn’t support mold growth. When properly installed, it’s the last insulation your building will ever need.
An SPF roof can last 50+ years with proper maintenance. The key is recoating the protective topcoat every 10–15 years to restore UV resistance. Each recoat essentially resets the roof’s service life — making it a more cost-effective long-term investment than traditional roofing systems that require full tear-off and replacement.
Yes. Spray foam can be retrofitted into existing walls, attics, basements, crawlspaces, and shop buildings. Proper surface prep and planning are required — particularly around electrical and plumbing — but it’s a very common application for us.
In most cases, SPF can be applied directly over an existing roof, which eliminates tear-off costs and landfill waste. We conduct a moisture scan first — any wet or damaged sections need to be addressed before foam is applied. We’ll give you an honest assessment during our site inspection.

Spray foam is a bigger upfront investment than fiberglass batts, but it consistently delivers superior energy savings and a permanent result. Pricing depends on building type, thickness required, and accessibility. The best way to get an accurate number is a free on-site quote — we don’t believe in guessing off a per-square-foot rate without seeing the job.
